In the beginning of 1982 I gave my first step in IT by simply writing my full name on the screen using a PRINT instruction in a ZX81. The years to come became magical, filled with infinite possibilities, even if with a very limited system, when compared to what we have nowadays. Programming became my passion and almost my obsession. There was no free moments I wouldn’t use to create some new application or improve one already developed.

My range of interests and experiences grew wider over the years and today my attention is more focused on how IT systems can help humans to improve their lives. It is not about technology, programming languages or finding the next big application mother lode anymore. It is about people helping people to improve their efficiency and their lives in this planet. It is about helping to deal more efficiently with the great challenges we are facing today and aim for a smarter and brighter future, for us and the generations to come.
